Pinacoteca Nazionale (Siena)

The Pinacoteca Nazionale in Siena is the principal public gallery for Sienese paintings, holding major works that document the city-state’s artistic production from the medieval period through the Renaissance.

The collection emphasizes Sienese masters of the 13th to 17th centuries and includes important examples of Gothic and early Renaissance panel painting by artists associated with Siena.
