How to Get to Parnaíba
Parnaíba is served by a small local airport (PHB) for short regional flights and otherwise by intercity buses from larger airports such as Teresina. Road travel is the primary way to reach and explore the region.
Parnaíba-Prefeito Dr. João Silva Filho (PHB): Parnaíba has a small regional airport very close to the city (typically 10-15 minutes by taxi). From PHB you can take a short taxi or local transfer into town (fares are low; journey ~10-20 minutes).
Teresina-Senador Petrônio Portella (THE): For more frequent connections, Teresina is the larger regional airport (around 300 km by road). From Teresina you can take intercity buses to Parnaíba (journey ~3.5-4.5 hours, fares often R$40-80) or a long taxi/transfer (considerably more expensive).
