The Pampulha Modern Ensemble is a group of civic and leisure buildings around the artificial Pampulha Lake in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, designed in the early 1940s by Oscar Niemeyer with landscape work by Roberto Burle Marx. The property is recognised as an early and influential example of Brazilian modernist architecture.
Key monuments are the curved concrete Church of São Francisco de Assis, the lakeside casino building now housing the Pampulha Museum of Art, and smaller pavilion buildings such as Casa do Baile.
