A large 17th-century palazzo on Via del Corso in central Rome, notable for its extensive private art collection and public gallery. It is associated with the Pamphilj family and the papacy of Innocent X.
The complex was acquired and expanded by the Pamphilj family in the 17th century, notably during the papacy of Giovanni Battista Pamphilj (Pope Innocent X). Over subsequent centuries the palace has remained linked to the family while parts have been opened to the public to display the art collection.
Located on one of Rome’s principal central streets, the palazzo sits in the historical core of the city near Piazza Venezia and within walking distance of other central attractions.
