How to Get to Ober Gabelhorn #
To reach Ober Gabelhorn you travel to Zermatt: take Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) or intercity trains to Visp, then the Matterhorn Gotthard Railway to Zermatt. Zermatt is car‑free-if driving, park in Täsch (about 5 km from Zermatt) and take the frequent Täsch-Zermatt shuttle train (roughly 12 minutes). From Zermatt village walk or take local mountain lifts/huts into the Zmutt/Trift valleys to the trailheads used for approaches to the mountain (trailheads are a few kilometres’ walk from the village depending on route).
