Bjeshkët e Nemuna National Park, also known in English as the Accursed Mountains National Park, protects mountain landscapes in northwestern Kosovo. The park conserves alpine terrain, valleys and glacial features within the Prokletije/Accursed Mountains.
The park offers mountain scenery, ridgelines and high peaks that attract hikers, mountaineers and backcountry visitors. Trails lead to alpine meadows, cirques and high passes; experienced walkers use the area for multi-day routes across rugged terrain.
Established to protect the region’s mountain ecosystems and landscape values, the park covers areas of ecological and recreational importance in the Prokletije range. It forms part of a transboundary mountain system shared with neighbouring countries.
Situated in the District of Peja in northwest Kosovo, the park lies near the borders with Montenegro and Albania and encompasses remote, high-altitude terrain in the Accursed Mountains.
