The island is served by inter-island ferries and private boat transfers from the main tourist gateways on Viti Levu.
Nacula has long been inhabited by indigenous Fijian communities and forms part of the traditional chiefly and village networks of the Yasawa Islands. Tourism developed in the late 20th century with the arrival of small resorts and dive operators.
The island sits in the northern Yasawa group off the northwest coast of Fiji’s main island, Viti Levu, within the Western administrative division.
- Access: Regular inter-island ferry services connect the Yasawa Islands to points on Viti Levu, providing the main public access to the island.
