Mount Hotham

Mount Hotham is a mountain and established alpine resort in the Victorian High Country of Australia, known for downhill skiing in winter and high-country walking in summer. It serves as one of Victoria’s principal snowfields and seasonal visitor hubs.

During winter the village and ski lifts support alpine skiing and snowboarding; in warmer months the area is used for hiking, mountain biking and scenic drives. The mountain sits within a larger alpine environment with subalpine vegetation and exposed ridgelines.

Mount Hotham is located in northeast Victoria within the Australian Alps and is reached via the Great Alpine Road and local access routes from regional towns.
