How to Get to Mount Gambier
Mount Gambier is best accessed by regional flights into MGB or by coach/car from Adelaide. Passenger rail does not serve the city, so road connections - coaches, rental cars and taxis - are the practical travel modes.
Mount Gambier Airport (MGB): Small regional airport with regular Rex (Regional Express) flights to Adelaide. From the airport the city centre is about a 10-15 minute drive; taxis and rental cars are available at the terminal.
Adelaide Airport (ADL): The major hub for interstate and international arrivals; Mount Gambier is roughly a 4.5-5.5 hour drive or a similar-length coach ride from Adelaide. Coach services provide a direct alternative to driving.
Train: There is no regular passenger rail service linking Mount Gambier to Adelaide at present; rail freight uses the corridor but passenger trains are not available.
