Mount Archer National Park protects the sandstone-capped peak of Mount Archer east of Rockhampton in Central Queensland, Australia. The summit rises to about 604 meters and forms a prominent backdrop to the city.
Visitors can drive to a summit picnic area and lookout that offers panoramic views over Rockhampton, the Fitzroy River and the coastal plains. The park also has walking tracks through open eucalypt woodland and pockets of dry rainforest, suitable for short day walks and birdwatching.
The area has long been used for recreation and as part of the local water catchment and is managed as a national park by Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service. The park preserves the natural vegetation of the Berserker Range and provides urban-adjacent conservation values.
The park sits immediately east of Rockhampton on the Berserker Range in Central Queensland, within a short drive from the city center.
