Miedwie (Jezioro Miedwie) is a large freshwater lake in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship of north-west Poland. The lake has an area of about 35 square kilometres and is a regional focus for water recreation and nature activities.
The lake supports boating, sailing and angling, and its shoreline includes beaches and protected natural areas important for birdlife. It was formed by glacial processes and is integrated into the surrounding lowland landscape and local tourism.
Miedwie lies near the town of Stargard and is within commuting distance of the regional centre of Szczecin, occupying a central place in the region’s network of lakes and waterways.
