Meerzorg sits across the Suriname River from central Paramaribo and is most often reached via Paramaribo. The primary air link is Johan Adolf Pengel International Airport (PBM) near Zanderij; from there travelers continue by taxi or shared minibus into Paramaribo and cross to Meerzorg by bridge or ferry.

Johan Adolf Pengel International Airport (PBM): PBM is the main international gateway to Suriname, located near Zanderij about 45-60 minutes by road from Paramaribo. From PBM you can take a shared minibus to Paramaribo (approx. 30-60 SRD, 30-45 min) or a taxi directly to Meerzorg via the Jules Wijdenbosch Bridge (approx. 80-150 SRD, 45-75 min depending on traffic). Note: shared shuttles and taxis are the usual options; pre-booked transfers are available from larger hotels in Paramaribo.

Paramaribo Johan Adolf Pengel is the main international airport; there are no regular scheduled international flights to smaller airstrips serving Meerzorg itself.
