Mapleton National Park is a protected area on the Blackall Range in Queensland’s Sunshine Coast hinterland, adjacent to the township of Mapleton. The park conserves remnants of subtropical rainforest and eucalypt forest on the escarpment.
The park’s main attractions are a scenic waterfall and lookout points that provide views across the Mary River valley and toward the coastal plain. A network of short walking tracks winds through forest pockets and connects picnic areas and viewpoints.
The reserve has been managed to protect local rainforest remnants and to provide public access for short walks, nature observation and picnicking.
