Pristina International Airport ‘Adem Jashari’ (PRN): The main international gateway for Kosovo - about 45-70 km from Malishevë (Malisheva) depending on route. From PRN you can take a direct taxi (roughly €40-€60, about 50-70 minutes) or a combination of shuttle/bus to Pristina city and onward regional buses/minibuses to Malisheva (total travel time ~1.5-2 hours).
Tirana International Airport (TIA), Skopje (SKP): For cross-border itineraries some travellers fly into Tirana or Skopje and continue overland by long-distance bus; overland transfers are longer (several hours) and vary considerably by route and operator.
Train: Kosovo has a limited rail network and no direct passenger service into Malisheva; trains operate on some national routes but are not the main way to reach this municipality.

- Intercity minibuses / buses (€3-€8) - Regional minibuses (furgons) and buses connect Malisheva with Pristina, Prizren and nearby towns. They depart from regional bus stations; services are frequent enough for day trips but schedules can be informal-arrive early and ask locally about departures.
- Taxi / Private transfer (€40-€60) - Taxis and private transfers are the fastest door-to-door option from PRN or nearby cities; a taxi from Pristina airport to Malisheva typically costs several dozen euros and takes ~1-1.5 hours. Agree price in advance for longer routes.
- Car / Rental (€30-€70 per day (car)) - Driving gives flexibility to explore the surrounding countryside; roads are generally passable but expect variable signage outside major routes. Car rental is available at Pristina airport and in larger cities.
- Local buses (€1-€4) - Local buses link villages inside the municipality and run to regional bus terminals. These are inexpensive but can be slow and operate on limited schedules-useful for short hops if you plan around timetables.
