By Air

Budapest Ferenc Liszt International (BUD): Budapest is the main international gateway for Makó. From Budapest take MÁV regional trains or Volánbusz coaches to Szeged, then a short regional connection to Makó; total travel time ≈3-4 hours. Airport transfers into the city (bus 100E/taxi) add time before the onward rail/coach leg.

Debrecen Airport (DEB): Debrecen is closer than Budapest for some connections but has limited international flights. From Debrecen you’d take regional rail/bus services via Szeged or Hódmezővásárhely to reach Makó - total travel times vary and services are less frequent than from Budapest.

By Train & Bus
