Lyulin Mountain | TravelDojo

Lyulin Mountain is a mountain range and natural area in western Bulgaria, located in Pernik Province near the capital region. It is used locally for hiking, forestry and outdoor recreation.

The range comprises a number of peaks and forested slopes rather than a single very high summit, and it forms part of the low mountain landscape west of Sofia. Trails and local routes provide access from nearby towns and settlements.

Lyulin Mountain lies to the west of the Sofia metropolitan area in southwestern Bulgaria and is part of the transitional zone between lowland plains and higher ranges in the Balkans.
