Llogara National Park is a protected mountainous area on Albania’s southwestern coast in Vloreb County, occupying part of the Ceraunian Mountains above the Albanian Riviera. The park is known for its steep ridges, pine forests and dramatic views down to the Ionian Sea.

Road access via the Llogara Pass provides panoramas of the coastline and the surrounding mountains, and the park contains several short trails and picnic areas used by day visitors. The site is appreciated for its combination of mountain and coastal scenery, and for outdoor activities such as hiking and paragliding when conditions allow.

The region’s landscape is shaped by coastal mountain geology and Mediterranean climatic influences; vegetation includes native pine and mixed broadleaf stands. The park functions as a natural corridor above the coastal settlements and is a common stop on routes linking towns along the Albanian Riviera.

  • Popular activities: The area is popular for short hikes, picnics and paragliding when weather permits, making it a day-trip destination from nearby coastal towns.
