Le Reculet is a mountain in the Jura massif of eastern France that reaches 1,718 metres and ranks among the highest peaks in the range. It is valued for its panoramic viewpoints toward the Alps.
Marked hiking routes lead to the rocky summit where open exposures provide views across the Jura ridges and, when visibility is good, across the Rhône valley to the Alps and Mont Blanc. Routes commonly start at Col de la Faucille and nearby parking or trailheads.
The peak is part of the Jura geological ridge and has no major constructed history beyond traditional pastoral use and modern marked trails for recreation. It is included within the broader natural area of the Haut-Jura.
Le Reculet lies in the Ain department of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, close to the French-Swiss border and within driving distance of Geneva and the Pays de Gex.
