By train, ÖBB services run from Salzburg to Zell am See (about 1-1.5 hours depending on service); from Zell am See station it is a 5-10 minute walk to the lakefront. By car, drive from Salzburg via the A10 motorway and local roads (around 100 km, roughly 1-1.5 hours depending on traffic) and use the town car parks, then walk a few minutes to the shore.
