Lake Mandrensko (often called Mandra) is a coastal lake and reservoir on Bulgaria’s Black Sea coast in Burgas Province, adjacent to the city of Burgas. It is one of the Burgas Lakes and functions as an important wetland and fishery.
The site is used for birdwatching and local fisheries and features reedbeds and shallows that attract migratory and resident waterbirds. Recreational access and fishing occur around the lake, with nearby urban and industrial areas of Burgas influencing land use.
The lake has been modified by human use over time to support fisheries and water management for the adjacent city and port areas. Its current character is that of a managed coastal wetland within a larger complex of Burgas-area lakes.
