Lake Fuschl (Fuschlsee) is a lake in the Salzkammergut region of Salzburg state in Austria, adjacent to the town of Fuschl am See. It is part of a network of lakes in the Salzkammergut popular for swimming, boating, and short shoreline walks.
The lake is used for recreational boating, bathing and local tourism, and has walking routes and facilities around its shore. Historic buildings and hotels, including a lakeside castle-hotel, sit on or near the shoreline.
Fuschlsee occupies a basin shaped by glacial action during the last ice age and has clear alpine-fed waters. It is integrated into the Salzkammergut lake district both hydrologically and in terms of visitor infrastructure.
