How to Get to Kolašin

Kolašin sits on Montenegro's main rail line and is well connected by train to Podgorica and Bar; buses and cars are also common for reaching the mountain resort. Trains offer scenic journeys through the mountains.

By Air

Podgorica Airport (TGD): Podgorica is the closest major airport to Kolašin (roughly 80-110 km depending on route). From TGD you can take a bus or taxi to Podgorica city and then a train or bus up to Kolašin; travel time overall is usually around 1.5-3 hours.

Tivat Airport (TIV): Tivat is another option on the coast (longer drive through mountain roads). From TIV expect a 2.5-4 hour drive to Kolašin depending on traffic and route; taxis are available but costly for the distance.

By Train & Bus
