Kablar is a mountain in central Serbia that forms one side of the Ovčar-Kablar Gorge on the West Morava river. The mountain is known for steep slopes, forested sections and cliffs that drop to the river gorge.
Trails and minor roads provide access for hiking and viewpoints across the gorge; the immediate area is used for outdoor recreation and short excursions. The nearby gorge contains several historic Orthodox monasteries clustered along the river valley.
The mountain and gorge developed through fluvial and karst processes acting on local limestone and other sedimentary rocks. Human use has centred on monastic sites, small settlements and recreational tourism in recent decades.
Kablar sits in central Serbia west of the city of Čačak, alongside the West Morava river within the Ovčar-Kablar gorge landscape.
