Jeziorak

Jeziorak is a long, narrow lake in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship of northern Poland, known as the country’s longest lake by length at roughly 27 kilometers. It lies within the Iława Lake District and features an irregular shoreline with bays and peninsulas.

The lake is popular for sailing, boating and angling, and the town of Iława at the lake’s western end functions as the main service and access center for visitors. Jeziorak is also linked to Poland’s historic Elbląg Canal, which provides a navigable connection toward the Baltic coast.

The lake’s length and connected waterways make it significant for regional tourism and water-based recreation, with marinas, promenades and excursion services operating from Iława and other small settlements along the shore.

Jeziorak sits in northern Poland’s lake district, surrounded by mixed forest and agricultural land, and is readily reached from regional roads serving Iława.
