Isthmia is an ancient sanctuary on the Isthmus of Corinth in the northeastern Peloponnese, best known as the location of the Panhellenic Isthmian Games. The site centers on the sanctuary of Poseidon and includes remains spanning the Archaic, Classical and Roman periods.
Surviving features include temple foundations and architectural fragments of the sanctuary, a Roman bath complex, and the remains of a stadium used for athletic contests. An archaeological museum at the site displays pottery, inscriptions and other finds recovered during excavations.
