Inishbofin, County Galway

Inishbofin is a small inhabited island off the Connemara coast in County Galway, Ireland, with a permanent community and a working harbour. It is known regionally for its coastal scenery, beaches and outdoor recreation.

The island offers a compact village with basic visitor services, networked walking trails, sandy bays and opportunities for birdwatching and watersports such as diving and kayaking. Visitor infrastructure is small-scale and most facilities are concentrated around the harbour.
