Ilha de Boipeba is an island off the coast of Bahia in northeastern Brazil, within the municipality of Cairu. It is known for Atlantic forest, beaches and low-density coastal settlements.

How to Get to Ilha de Boipeba #
From Salvador take a bus or private transfer to the port town of Valença (roughly 3-4 hours by road), then a scheduled boat or water taxi to Boipeba village (around 30-70 minutes depending on the route). Some travellers use flights or fast boats via Morro de São Paulo plus local transfers; schedules vary by season.

- Arrive via Valença and then by local boat to Velha Boipeba - the village is the island's hub for transfers, restaurants and pousadas.
