Husein-paša’s Mosque is an Ottoman-era mosque located in the old town of Pljevlja in northern Montenegro. It is regarded as one of the principal historic Ottoman monuments in the municipality.
The complex comprises the main mosque building and surrounding open space used historically for communal and religious functions. Architectural features typical of Ottoman mosque design are evident in the building’s form and minaret.
The mosque was constructed in the late 16th century and has served as a central place of worship for the local Muslim community since its construction. Over time the site has been preserved as a notable example of regional Ottoman architecture.
The mosque stands in the historic centre of Pljevlja, within easy walking distance of the town’s market area and old streets.
