Hohe Salve

Hohe Salve is a mountain in the Kitzbühel Alps of Tyrol, Austria, rising to about 1,829 metres above sea level. It is a prominent local summit and a hub for walking and ski tourism.

The summit area offers 360-degree panoramic views across nearby Alpine ranges and is served by cable cars and ski lifts that link it to the surrounding ski network. The peak has a small chapel and visitor facilities, and routes up the mountain are used for both summer hiking and winter skiing.

Historically the mountain has been used for alpine pasture and local pilgrimage; lift and tourism infrastructure was developed in the 20th century to support recreational skiing and hiking. The summit continues to combine traditional features with modern visitor amenities.

The mountain sits in the Tyrolean Kitzbühel Alps near the villages of Söll and Hopfgarten, within a well-developed ski and hiking region of western Austria.
