How to Get to Hochschwab Mountains #
Drive from Bruck an der Mur or from the city of Leoben; the Voisthaler Hut and typical trailheads are accessed via the village of Tragöß or nearby Spital am Semmering. Regional buses serve the valley towns in summer; most hikers use their own car to reach trailheads.

- If attempting longer routes, hire a licensed mountain guide - the Hochschwab range has steep faces and unpredictable summer storms.
