Hocharn is a high mountain peak in the Austrian Alps, part of the Hohe Tauern range. It rises to an elevation of about 3,254 metres and is one of the taller summits in its group.
The mountain is popular with mountaineers and ski tourers and is approached via alpine routes that can include glacier travel and steep snow or rock. As a high Alpine peak it is typically climbed in summer by experienced hikers and mountaineers and in winter by ski mountaineers.
