Hausstock is a mountain in the Glarus Alps in eastern Switzerland, located on the boundary between the cantons of Glarus and Grisons. The peak reaches roughly 3,158 metres and is a notable feature of the alpine skyline in the region.
The mountain is popular for summer alpine hikes and ridge routes and for ski touring in winter, with routes approached from surrounding valleys and mountain huts. Geologically and visually it forms part of a rugged alpine massif offering panoramic views over neighbouring peaks and valleys.
Hausstock lies within a predominantly high-mountain environment in eastern Switzerland and is accessed from alpine valleys in the cantons that share its slopes.
