How to Get to Haidersee #
Reschensee is reached via the Reschen Pass. From the A22/E45 motorway: take the exit for Reschen/Resia and follow local roads to the village of Curon/Graun. The site is well signed and accessible by car; public buses run from nearby towns in South Tyrol and the Vinschgau valley.
Tips for Visiting Haidersee #
- Haidersee/Reschensee is best seen at sunrise for dramatic light on the submerged bell tower.
- Parking in the village of Graun (Curon) gives the closest and clearest view of the church tower rising from the lake.
- In winter the frozen lake and the solitary bell tower make for striking photographs, but check local safety advisories before venturing onto ice.
