The park is used primarily by children and families and forms part of the Jardín del Turia, the long park created in the former Turia riverbed. It is a civic playground rather than an historic monument.

The park sits inside the Jardín del Turia on the western side of Valencia’s city center and is reached by footpaths through the park.
