GSP Stadium

GSP Stadium is the national football stadium of Cyprus located in Nicosia and is the island’s largest stadium. It opened at the end of the 20th century and serves as the country’s principal venue for international football.

The venue holds about 22,800 spectators and is configured for association football with a full-size pitch surrounded by seating. It stages international fixtures, domestic cup finals, club matches and occasional concerts, with facilities for press and VIPs.

Built to replace the older GSP ground, the modern stadium was completed and opened in the late 1990s and has hosted UEFA qualifiers and other major domestic events since then. It has been maintained and upgraded periodically to meet competition standards.

The stadium sits within the Nicosia urban area on the western side of the city and is served by local roads and public transport links. It is the main national sports venue in Cyprus.
