Hahn uses one passenger terminal for check-in, security and all gates. The building contains airline desks, shops, cafés and car-hire desks within a compact layout that handles arrivals and departures in the same structure.

Shuttle coaches, regional buses, taxis and private cars are the main ways to reach larger cities; there is no direct mainline rail station at the terminal.

• Rail/Metro: No direct heavy-rail/ICE connection; the nearest major rail links are reached by coach.
• Buses: Scheduled shuttle coaches connect Hahn with Frankfurt Hbf and other cities; typical coach travel time to Frankfurt central is roughly 1 hr 15 min to 1 hr 45 min depending on service and traffic. Fares vary by operator and booking time (often €10-€25 one-way).
• Taxis: Taxis are available but journeys to Frankfurt are long and expensive - not recommended for cost-sensitive travellers.
• Ride-share: Availability is limited compared with major city airports; private transfers are common.
• Driving: By car to central Frankfurt is roughly 1.5-2 hours depending on traffic and route.

Facilities are practical and focused on short-stay passengers and charter/low-cost traffic.

• Food & drink: A selection of cafés and fast-food outlets in the terminal building.
