Aigle Azur was a French scheduled carrier based at Paris-Orly (ORY) that primarily operated short- and medium-haul services and a small number of longer routes. The airline ceased operations in 2019 and is no longer an option for booking travel.

Where Aigle Azur Flew

Aigle Azur operated from its main base at Paris-Orly (ORY) and focused on short- and medium-haul scheduled services with a network concentrated on European and North/West African destinations and a limited number of longer medium‑haul routes. The airline was not a member of a global alliance and extended its commercial reach through bilateral partnerships and codeshares rather than alliance connectivity.

Cabin options were basic economy on most flights, with a separate premium/business cabin offered on some longer aircraft; the carrier did not offer a first-class product.

Tips for Flying Aigle Azur

  • Aigle Azur ceased operations in 2019 and no longer sells tickets, so it cannot be booked for travel.
  • If you hold a ticket issued by Aigle Azur, contact your travel agent or your credit-card company and check the court-appointed administrators’ instructions for refund or claim procedures.
  • Avoid third-party sites advertising Aigle Azur flights; if you need to travel from Paris-Orly (ORY) look for alternate carriers currently operating the route you need.
  • If you were affected by the airline’s shutdown, keep all receipts and documentation for reimbursement claims with your insurer, credit-card issuer, or the administrators.
