The 18th‑century Finckenstein Palace near Kamieniec survives as partial ruins and parkland; visitors come for historical walks, guided tours and the landscaped estate.
Finckenstein Palace was a historic Prussian palace located in what is now Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, Poland, originally associated with the Finckenstein noble family. The estate was once a significant country seat of the Prussian aristocracy.
Today the site is visited for the remains of the palace and the surrounding former parkland rather than a restored residence. Ruined structures and landscape features mark the footprint of the former palace complex.
The palace belonged to the Finckenstein family and played roles in regional aristocratic and diplomatic history; it was visited by notable historical figures in the 18th and 19th centuries. During fighting in the closing stages of World War II the palace was heavily damaged and did not survive as an intact residence.
The former palace site lies in northern Poland’s Warmian-Masurian region, in the area that was historically East Prussia and is now administratively within a Polish county.
