Fassa Valley (Val di Fassa) is an alpine valley in Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol in northern Italy, set within the Dolomites mountain range and known for year-round mountain tourism. It is a key area for skiing, hiking and access to notable Dolomite peaks.
The valley contains several towns used by visitors as bases, including Canazei, Moena and Pozza di Fassa, which provide lift access, accommodation and mountain services. Trails, cable cars and mountain passes link the valley to neighbouring Dolomite massifs and ski circuits.
Historically a mountain agricultural and pastoral region, the valley developed tourism infrastructure through the 20th century and is now a major destination for both winter sports and summer alpine activities. The Dolomites encompassing the valley were designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2009.
Geographically Val di Fassa runs roughly north-south in Trentino, with the valley floor and settlements situated between high limestone peaks; the nearest large city is Trento, about 50-70 kilometres to the southwest depending on route.

Val di Fassa is reachable by road from Bolzano (approx. 1.5-2 hours) and Trento; regional buses link the valley towns with Bolzano and other Dolomite destinations. The nearest major airports are Bolzano, Verona and Venice with onward train/bus connections.
