Estadio de la Cerámica

Estadio de la Cerámica is the football stadium in Villarreal, in Spain’s Valencian Community, and is the long-standing home of Villarreal CF. The ground dates back to the early 20th century and was modernised in the 2000s to meet top-tier and European competition standards.

The stadium seats around 23,000 spectators and presents a compact, close-to-the-pitch layout favoured by home supporters. Matchdays feature club facilities, stands with covered seating, and hospitality areas suitable for domestic and UEFA fixtures.

Originally opened in the early 1920s as El Madrigal, the venue has been rebuilt and expanded several times to improve capacity, sightlines, and services. The 21st-century renovations brought it into line with modern safety and broadcast requirements.

Located in the town of Villarreal (Vila-real) in the province of Castellón, the stadium lies within the urban area and is a short distance from the town centre. It is accessible by local roads and public transport from nearby cities including Castellón and Valencia.
