Engolasters is a mountain village and lake in the parish of Escaldes-Engordany in Andorra. It sits above the main valley and is part of the central Andorran highlands.
The site is visited for its lakeside setting, short hiking routes and views over the surrounding valleys and towns. Trails and local paths connect the hamlet and lake to neighbouring mountain tracks.
Historically it developed as a small rural settlement serving pastoral and mountain activities; the lake and surrounding area have long been used for local recreation. The place retains traditional mountain buildings and routes rather than large modern infrastructure.
Engolasters lies within the Escaldes-Engordany parish in central Andorra, inland from the main road that links Andorra la Vella with higher mountain areas. The landscape is mountainous with forested slopes above the valley floor.
