Dwejra Tower is a 17th-century coastal watchtower on the west coast of Gozo, Malta, built by the Order of Saint John in 1658 as part of their island-wide network of De Redin towers. It was sited to monitor approaches to Dwejra Bay and to communicate with neighbouring towers and coastal defences.
The tower is a small square masonry structure with multiple floors and a roof platform and occupies a prominent position above the bay and adjacent sea features. It has been preserved as an example of early modern coastal fortification on Gozo.
The tower sits on the Dwejra headland near the village of San Lawrenz on the island of Gozo, overlooking the western coastline.

Dwejra Tower is on Gozo at Dwejra Bay (the Dwejra area). From the Mgarr ferry terminal on Gozo or from Victoria (Rabat) it’s a drive of around 15-25 minutes along Gozo’s main roads (a short radial drive across the island). The site is commonly reached by car, taxi or by local bus services running from Victoria - from the nearest bus stop a short walk brings you to the Dwejra shoreline and the tower.
