Dürrenstein is a limestone mountain in Lower Austria that reaches an elevation of 1,878 metres and is part of the Northern Limestone Alps. It is a notable local summit in the region.

Alpine hikers and mountaineers use marked routes to reach the summit; the mountain offers typical limestone terrain with cliffs, rocky ridges and alpine meadows. Seasonal conditions and steep sections mean appropriate mountain equipment and experience are advised for summit attempts.
