Santa Bernardina Airport (DZO) / Durazno Aerodrome: Durazno has a local airfield (Santa Bernardina) used for domestic flights and general aviation; scheduled services are limited - check availability before travel.
Carrasco International Airport (MVD), Montevideo: The main international gateway to Uruguay. From MVD you can reach Durazno by bus (long-distance coach) or by car; long-distance buses from Montevideo to Durazno take about 3-4 hours and fares are typically in the low tens of USD/around a few hundred UYU depending on operator and class.
Train: Uruguay’s passenger rail network is very limited and does not provide regular long-distance service to Durazno for most travellers.
Bus: Long-distance buses (coach companies) are the most common way to reach Durazno from Montevideo, Paysandú and other cities.
