Duida–Marahuaca National Park

Duida-Marahuaca National Park is a protected area in Amazonas state, Venezuela, established to conserve the Duida and Marahuaca tepuis and their surrounding ecosystems. The park is notable for its isolated sandstone plateaus and unique biodiversity.

The park was created to protect the tepui massif and associated biological communities; scientific exploration since the mid-20th century has documented many endemic species. Conservation efforts focus on preserving habitats and supporting research with cooperation from indigenous communities.

Located in the Venezuelan Amazon, the park lies north of the Orinoco basin highlands; the nearest settlements are remote and travel typically involves river travel or small aircraft from larger regional towns.
