The Dubrovnik Synagogue is a historic Jewish house of worship located in the Old Town of Dubrovnik, Croatia. It is recognised as one of the older Sephardic-style synagogues in Europe and forms part of the city’s Jewish heritage ensemble.
The synagogue building is associated with the medieval and early modern Jewish community of Dubrovnik and today is integrated with the Jewish Museum of Dubrovnik, which preserves ritual objects and documents related to the community’s history. The structure reflects a long continuity of use and conservation within the walled city.
The synagogue sits within Dubrovnik’s UNESCO-listed Old Town, close to the main pedestrian thoroughfare and other historic landmarks.

The synagogue is inside Dubrovnik’s Old Town, a short stroll from the Stradun (main pedestrian street). Arrive on foot; the Old Town is pedestrianised and well signed. If coming from the city’s main bus station, it’s a 15-20 minute walk uphill toward the Ploče Gate and then into the medieval lanes.
