Drvenik Mali is a small island in the Adriatic Sea off the Dalmatian coast in Split-Dalmatia County, Croatia. It lies among the Dalmatian island group and is one of several islands with similar names in the area.
The island is characterised by coastal bays, pebble beaches and Mediterranean vegetation; boat access and sheltered anchorages make it a stop for small craft and day visitors. There are no large urban centres on the island and facilities are limited compared with the mainland.
Historically the island has been used for local fishing and occasional seasonal visits; it has not been a major urban or strategic centre. The island’s coastline and bays have remained its main attraction.
Geographically it sits off the central Dalmatian shoreline in the Adriatic Sea, within boat distance of Split and other coastal towns in Split-Dalmatia County.
