Dikaios (also called Dikeos) is the principal mountain massif on the Greek island of Kos in the South Aegean. Its summit reaches roughly 846 meters and it forms the island’s central high ground.
Trails and minor roads traverse the slopes and link a number of small villages and agricultural terraces; the mountain provides panoramic viewpoints over Kos and the surrounding Aegean islands. The landscape combines scrub, cultivated terraces and scattered rural settlements.
The mountain has been used historically for grazing and local agriculture and contains small chapels and rural settlements rather than major built monuments. The summit and ridgelines are frequented for walking and local outdoor recreation.
Dikaios occupies the inland central-southern part of Kos island in the South Aegean; it is inland from Kos Town and forms the island’s highest topographic feature.

Dikaios is reached from Kos Town by local roads heading south and west; the summit road and trails are signposted in places. Local buses and taxis can reach the base; from there the ascent is on foot or by short local track.
