Darłowo Castle

The castle in Darłowo (Zamek Książąt Pomorskich) is a medieval ducal fortress on the Baltic coast in West Pomeranian Voivodeship, Poland, originally constructed in the 14th century. It is a prominent historic landmark in the town of Darłowo and now contains museum displays about the region.

Exhibits focus on the castle’s medieval history and the town’s maritime past, displayed in rooms adapted from the former ducal residence. The site is compact and located close to the town center and harbour, making it easy to combine with a visit to Darłowo’s waterfront.

Construction began in the 14th century under the Dukes of Pomerania to serve as a fortified residence.
