Dąbie Lake (Jezioro Dąbie) is a shallow lake and lagoon on the Oder river system in West Pomeranian Voivodeship, located to the east of the city of Szczecin. It forms part of the network of waterways and wetlands in the Oder estuary area.
The lake and its shoreline are used for recreation, small-boat navigation and fisheries; reedbeds and marshy margins attract waterbirds and make parts of the shore popular with anglers. Local promenades and cycle routes run along sections of the lake shore.
Historically the lake has been integrated with nearby shipping channels and the urban layout of Szczecin, serving both economic and recreational roles for the surrounding communities.
Dąbie Lake lies immediately east of Szczecin’s urban area, within the lower Oder floodplain and estuarine landscape of northwestern Poland. It connects with other channels and wetlands of the Szczecin lagoon system.
